This is something of a novelty among all of Miami’s attractions and hence visitors flock in to make the most of the fun, this popular tourist attraction is a renowned 30 acre wildlife park established way back in 1933 and located southwest of Miami. Originally designed as a place to exhibit and study endangered species of monkeys in a semi-natural habitat, the Monkey Jungle today is one of the must visit destinations for any Miami visitors.
There are about 400 primates in the park of at least 30 different species, but the novelty of a tour in Monkey Jungle is not so much its occupants but the condition how visitors see them, in a absolutely novel concept of letting the wild animals have a free run of the area, it is the humans who are guided along tunnel cages and similarly enclosed observation areas which run along the Amazonian rainforest of the park.
